This course is designed to familiarize the chemist with the new approach in the Food Safety analysis. Food adulteration is a serious issue impacting both health and economy. Pesticides and fungicides used during the growth process can be toxic and can cause serious health issues which can be life threatening. Innovations in Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) Raman Analysis, Ultra Performance Separation Technology, tandem Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry, Gas chromatography Mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and Quechers Sample preparation.
It’s important to consider orthogonal techniques able to provide good resolution, sensitivity and efficiency in the general food analysis. For your specific task, we will present a collection of application-specific solutions for; food adulteration, characterizing Multiresidues Pesticides, Polar pesticides, Veterinary drug residue etc.
These solutions are designed to provide you with more targeted, more accurate, reliable and robust results, simplify your analyses, and thereby increase your productivity. Food analysis is a challenging area, where we are looking for the lowest concentrations of analytes in some of the most complex matrices.
